Venus is the second planet from the Sun and is a world currently being terraformed. Venus formed 4.54 billion years ago. Originally, it had oceans and continents like the Earth, but eventually accumulated too much CO2 and became a planet-sized oven. Because of its incredibly dangerous environment Venus did not have a manned mission until 2098 AD. Currently, Venus is undergoing terraformation via massive sunlight reflectors and CO2 absorbers. The targeted date that Venus is expected to be 40C (104F) by about 2610 AD and be fully terraformed by around 2700 AD. Today, Venus houses only 12,000 but has an additional 70,000 in orbit. Interestingly, Venus is the only planet that moves clockwise.
